The Bridge Ministry started in November 2004 out of a desire to reach the homeless and less fortunate people of Nashville, TN. Our heart is to love these people and to minister to their physical needs but most importantly their spiritual needs. We want to show these people the reality of Christ through our healing hands of compassion! God is doing an awesome work in the lives of these people and you can be a part of it! This ministry is a faith-based multi-demoninational band of dedicated volunteers. We meet under the Jefferson Street Bridge on Tuesday nights and rotate Thursday nights with the Shelby Street at the First Wesleyan Church location, Gallatin location and Murfreesboro Road location. A team of more than 75 volunteers work each week bagging groceries, packing trucks, setting up the meetings, preparing meals and gathering clothes to aid over 300 homes every Tuesday and Thursday night.
